24^th Edition

11 June – 12 July

The Artistic Director, George Frendo, together with the organising committee of VIAF, said that this year’s 24^th edition of the Festival is on between the 11th June and 12th July. After last year’s innovative online experience, which, judging by feedback we got from viewers, was successful and a most welcome reprieve from the constraints imposed on the world by COVID-19, this year a part-live and part-online Festival is planned. Local musicians, who feature prominently in this year’s edition, will be performing live in different venues in Victoria. On the other hand, foreign musicians’ concerts will be presented online as last year.

Given the prevailing, fluctuating and extremely unstable situation, the programme will be announced on a week-by-week basis.

For the live concerts, all COVID-19-related rules imposed by the authorities will be strictly observed throughout the Festival.
