It is with great pleasure that VIAF organisers announce the participation of soprano Miriam Cauchi and violinist Carmine Lauri for the opening and closing concerts respectively in this year’s 21st edition of our Festival. The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Philip Walsh will be in attendance. All VIAF concerts and cultural events are offered to the public free of charge.

VIAF 2018 is being held in honour of its Artistic Director, Prof. Mro Joseph Vella, who passed away suddenly earlier this year. His name and his legacy will always be cherished and honoured.
